Privacy policy

Last updated 6 November 2026

This policy explains what JobIndex collects when you use jobindex.space, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can, and we do not sell your data.

What we collect

Why we use it

The legal bases are: providing the service you asked for (contract), and our legitimate interest in keeping it secure.

Who we share it with

We share data only to run the service, or when the law requires it. Some of these providers are outside your country; they protect data under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and the browser’s storage for preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

The browser extension

The extension reads your JobIndex profile to fill in application forms you open, and only when you ask it to. It does not collect your browsing history.

How long we keep it

Your account data stays until you delete your account. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Technical logs are deleted after a short period.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to how we use it. You can edit your profile and saved jobs in your workspace. To get a copy of your data or delete your account, email support@jobindex.space from the address you signed in with; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy the date at the top changes, and we tell you about important changes. See also the terms.
