Search jobs inside your AI agent.

Connect JobIndex to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor or Grok, then ask for roles in plain words. Your assistant searches every open role we index and links you straight to where each one was posted.

Search with Codex

  1. Run this in your terminal:

    codex mcp add jobindex --url https://jobindex.space/api/v1/mcp
  2. Or add it to ~/.codex/config.toml yourself:

    [mcp_servers.jobindex]
    url = "https://jobindex.space/api/v1/mcp"

Or copy this and send it to your agent

Add the JobIndex MCP server to Codex. Its address is https://jobindex.space/api/v1/mcp (streamable HTTP transport). When it is connected, run one job search to confirm it works, then tell me it is ready.

What your assistant can and cannot do

  • Searching needs no account and sends nothing about you.
  • With an account, it reaches only your own data, only with the permissions you grant. Revoke access any time.
  • It never applies for you. Marking a role as applied only updates your own tracking.
  • Job descriptions come from employers and are treated as text to read, not instructions to follow.
