Data Center Technician - Spain - Córdoba - On-site

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Córdoba, Spain. This is an on-site position supporting network and IT infrastructure at business-critical sites in and around Córdoba. Compensation €19-26/hr (EUR hourly) Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates. Engagement Type • Contract/Freelance basis • Multi-day site projects, typically 2 days from 09:00 to 16:00, working alongside a second engineer • Project-based or ongoing support • Remote hands and smart hands services Key Responsibilities • Install and connect network equipment and security appliances in comms rooms and network cabinets (MDF/IDF) • Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations • Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic) • Conduct racking, stacking, and labeling • Perform patch panel and switch port work • Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues • Document all work with photos and detailed notes • Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams • Data center or IT infrastructure experience • Hands-on experience with network switches, patching and rack installations • Server hardware and networking knowledge • Reliable and professional with strong communication • Lives within commuting distance of the location in the title • Flexible schedule for project days and on-call/emergency work
